What is so special about us?
At Loyk Mara Camp, you stay closer to wild nature in a safari tent without compromising your comfort. The tents are raised to allow wildlife wander peacefully through the camp.
The Camp comprises of 16 Standard and 2 Family Tents located at the bank of a seasonal River called Ntiakitiak River on a 150 acres private land at the border of Olare Motorogi conservancy and the main Reserve.
Loyk Mara Camp has luxurious en-suite tents designed to accommodate both business and leisure travelers as well as Physically Challenged with all in room amenities and private verandahs. We ensure all our guests get personalized services and work close with all our staffs to offer all round the clock support.
Activities
All Game drives are done in the Masai Mara National Reserve by our guides who are there to make your safari experience comfortable and a memorable one.
Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic breakfast & lunch boxes to spend the entire day in the wild Or you can choose to have Morning and Afternoon game drives. This day will be spent in search for wild and have opportunity to see the big five Lion, Leopard, and Elephant, Buffalo’s, Rhino and other animals.

Maasai Mara has incredible birding spots with more than 470 different species of birds.
Commonly species to spot are:
Large Birds: Crowned cranes, herons, saddle billed storks and Kori bustards.
Raptors: Secretary birds, Pygmy Falcons. Bateluers and Martial Eagles
Colorful species: Lilac- breasted rollers, Bee eaters etc.

This is an iconic tradition, as the sun sinks below the horizon, there is nothing better than finding a spot in the middle of the savanna for soft or alcoholic drinks with snacks as you watch the sun disappear down the hills.
Why not enjoy breakfast in the bush away from the camp. Breakfast in the middle of the savannah surrounded by the wilderness overlooking the vast plains. After early morning game drive Enjoy English breakfast freshly cooked meals served; eggs, bacon, sausages, bread, pastries, fruits and hot beverages like tea and coffee.
There is no better way to experience the African bush under the night skies, sharing stories, and laughter by the bonfire. Here we serve both grilled red and white meats, stews, vegetables, fruits and deserts.

This a unique physical, mental and spiritual adventure through the savannah. Enjoy the sounds and smell of the Maasai Mara wilderness by taking an early morning or evening walk accompanied by our Maasai Warriors and an experienced local naturalist guides. The walks bring you closer to nature where you will learn types of trees, herbs, foot prints of different animals, spear throwing and watch wild animals from a distance of the African bush.
We all love our dearest children. But sometimes they take up too much of our attention. At Loyk you can enjoy your peace and quietly sipping a cool cocktail at our lounge and observe your beloved children playing at KIDS ADVENTURE CLUB just 20 meters away from their parents under the supervision of our staffs.
Well, honestly, it’s not always clear sky in Mara and sometimes it’s raining.
For such evenings we have billiards, poker, scrabble, chess, Mancala and Tv at our lounge. Feel free to show your skills to the others.

To allow our guests to turn theoretical knowledge about the culture and traditions of the Maasai tribe in the real practical experience, we built a real traditional Maasai Manyatta for our clients to learn their traditional skills and daily life responsibilities of the Maasai men and women. You can have an overnight at the real Maasai mud house – all this you will experience at LOYK MARA CAMP.
