A site steeped in the traditions of the Maasai warriors, where stories of bravery and community came alive amidst the savannah's beauty.
Loyk in Maasai language means Bones. The camp site is located where initially the young Maasai Warriors known as Moran’s used to gather after hunting, skin the animal and cook it over bonfire. They would then share the meat, drink blood mixed with milk while singing and chanting in their dialect. After, they would leave the bones there for scavengers like hyenas and vultures to finish the rest.
